Honeycreek Ile De France Stud
7 September 2026
We are thankful for having another opportunity to be involved in this wonderful breed.
Our journey, initially, started in 2001 and ended in 2008. At that time we functioned as Lainstopher Stud, first in Barberton, but later moved to Bloemhof.
We worked on four bloodlines at the time, and were quite succesful in show ring at the time, having won SA Junior ewe in 2003 and SA reserve Jnr ewe in 2005.
Upon restarting, we searched hich and low to acquire progeny of the bloodlines we worked on, but could only manage to get hold of two. However, with the help of good friends in the industry, we were able to get outstanding foundation stock to restart our own lines.
Pictures of yesteryear are posted , for all to enjoy.

What our customers say about us
Passion is our driving force! We believe it's more than farming, it's bigger than business, it's part of our calling! We've harnassed years of experience in genetics and animal husbandry and have set out to build upon key factors which are so often overlooked in modern-day stud farming. We understood from the onset that what we're after may take years, but hey, who's in a rush anyway? Life's a journey, enjoy the ride! If you ever speak to a client of ours you will understand that having a "Honeycreek-produced" travel companion, will make your ride even more enjoyable!
